Delivery Channels
Integration
Delivery Channels
The Banking scenario is ever changing to cater to the demanding
needs of customers. A Bank is no longer a place where one
goes physically to manage accounts. Instead, banks are gearing
up to provide a host of services to their customers through
all possible delivery channels that include Automated Teller
Machines, Tele-Banking, Mobile Phone Banking, Kiosks, Any
Branch Banking, Internet Banking or even a terminal placed
at the customers' own premises.
Thus with the advent of state-of-the-art technology banking
has literally come to the doorstep of the customer.
Integration Services
This department caters to application design and development
for integrating delivery channels with the core banking application.
Typically, interfacing is done with a third party.
Tools and/or services as per pre-set standards. The final
aim in such integrations is to converge towards a more generalized
interface i.e. the ISO 8583 interface whereby all delivery
channels find a common gateway for interaction with the banking
application database.
The following is the list of interfaces and applications
from the Integrated Services Department.
